for the Month of May 2022

ARRESTS

Disorderly Conduct, May 1, 2022, W. State Street, Doylestown Borough – Zachary Barone, M/25, Southampton, PA, was cited for the above offense for urinating in public. A Citation was issued.

Assault, May 1, 2022, Mechanics Street, Doylestown Borough – Jesse Baum, M/32, Doylestown, PA, was charged for the above offense after police responded to a domestic disturbance. The victim stated that Baum had spit in their face and struck them in the face multiple times leaving scratched and bruises. Police attempted to take Baum into custody to which he actively resisted, becoming physically agitated and defensive. Once in custody, Baum was arraigned, bail set at $50,000 with conditions, and remanded to Bucks County Prison. A Criminal Complaint was filed.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, May 4, 2022, New Britain Borough – Christopher Alderfer, M/35, New Britain, PA, and Lisa Madison, F/41, Newtown, PA, were charged with the above offense after police responded to a one vehicle accident. A Criminal Complaint was filed.

Corruption of Minors, May 6, 2022, Doylestown Borough – Raul Suarez Victoris, M/55, Trenton, NJ. On May 6, 2022, at 1:32 AM, Police responded to the parking lot located at 555 N. Broad Street in Doylestown Borough, PA.  Police were met by three individuals, representing a vigilante group, who were filming the incident involving a male offender sitting in his vehicle. One individual in the group had posed as a 13 year old male, “Osiel,” who received numerous texts and graphic pictures from the offender, Raul Suarez-Victoria M/55, of Trenton, NJ.  Suarez-Victoria and “Osiel” arranged to meet in the parking lot for sex. Suarez-Victoria confirmed to the vigilante group that he was the person communicating with “Osiel.” Suarez-Victoria was taken into custody, arraigned, bail set at 10%, $50,000 and remanded to Bucks County Prison

Ordinance Violation, May 6, 2022, W. Court Street, Doylestown Borough – Darius Lopez, M/23, Hanover Twp, PA, was cited for the above offense after police found him in possession of marijuana during a traffic stop. A Citation was issued.

DUI, May 7, 2022, Green Street, Doylestown Borough – Jacob Scupp, M/23, Doylestown, PA, was charged for the above offense after a traffic stop. Scupp presented with a strong odor of alcohol, bloodshot glassy eyes, and slurred speech. Scupp became argumentative and refused to complete field sobriety testing. He was transported to Doylestown Hospital for legal blood draw. A Criminal Complaint was filed.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, May 7, 2022, S. Main Street, Doylestown Borough – Mauro Maggiano, M/29, Croydon, PA, was charged for the above offense after police responded to a well-being check. Police made contact with Maggiano who was unsteady on his feet, appeared disoriented, was slow to respond, and was somewhat confused. Police ran Maggiano’s information which came back with an active warrant, and he was taken into custody. While in custody contraband was located on his person. Maggiano was transported to Doylestown Hospital for evaluation. A Criminal Complaint was filed.

Assault, May 10, 2022, Belmont Square, Doylestown Borough – Shawn Bradley, M/36, Philadelphia, was charged with the above offense after police responded to a call to a residence. Bradley refused to cooperate with police and actively resisted arrest. Once police were able to take Bradley into custody he was arraigned, bail set at 10% of $10,000, and remanded to Bucks County Prison.

DUI, May 10, 2022, S. Main Street, Doylestown Borough – Sheila Devlin, F/38, Doylestown, PA, was charged with the above offense after a traffic stop. Devlin presented with glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. After failed field sobriety tests Devlin was taken into custody and transported to Doylestown Hospital for legal blood draw. A Criminal Complaint was filed.

False Reports, May 12, 2022, E. Butler Avenue, Chalfont Borough – Jose Alejandro Marrero, M/31, Chalfont, PA, was charged on the above offense after police responded, on April 16, 2022, to a report of shots being fired. Marrero told police that a male subject got into an argument with him outside of an establishment when the male fired a gun at him causing the bullet to graze the side of his face. Further investigation revealed that the information reported was false. A Criminal Complaint has been filed.

Disorderly Conduct, May 12, 2022, E. State Street, Doylestown Borough – Margaret Dolan, F/23, Doylestown, PA, was cited for the above offense after police witnessed her vomit on the sidewalk. A Citation was issued.

Public Drunkenness, May 13, 2022, W. Court Street, Doylestown Borough – John Campbell, M/55, Doylestown, PA, was cited for the above offense after police responded to a well-being check. Campbell was found lying on the ground as a result of falling off of his bicycle. Campbell had a strong odor of alcohol, bloodshot eyes, and slurred speech. EMS was called to transport him to Doylestown Hospital and a Citation was issued.

Trespassing, May 13, 2022, N. Main Street, Doylestown Borough – Linsday Kauffman, F/28, Doylestown, PA, was charged with the above offense after she was found inside of a residence that she did not have authorization to be in. Kauffman was taken into custody, arraigned, bail was unsecured with conditions. A Criminal Complaint was filed.

DUI, May 14, 2022, W. Butler Avenue, New Britain Borough – Beau Palmore, M/36, Brookhaven, PA, was charged with the above offense after police stop his vehicle when they noticed him driving on three flat tires. Palmore presented with bloodshot and glassy eyes, a strong odor of alcohol, and an unsteady gait. After failed sobriety tests, Palmore was taken into custody and transported to Doylestown Hospital for legal blood draw. A Criminal Complaint was filed.

Disorderly Conduct, May 15, 2022, W. State Street, Doylestown Borough – William Moyer, M/22, Doylestown, PA, was cited for the above offense for public urination. A Citation was issued.

Ordinance Violation, May 17, 2022, Marian Circle, Chalfont Borough – Derek Arnold, M/26, Camp Hill, PA, was cited for the above offense for Soliciting for The Exterior Company without a permit. A Citation was issued.

DUI, May 20, 2022, N. Main Street, Doylestown Borough – Alyssa Atkinson, F/31, Perkasie, PA, was charged with the above offense after a traffic stop. Police determined that Atkinson was driving on a suspended license, presented with bloodshot and glassy eyes, and a strong odor of alcohol. After failed field sobriety tests police transported Atkinson to Doylestown Hospital for legal blood draw. A Criminal Complaint was filed.

Trespassing, May 22, 2022, North Street, Doylestown Borough – Eric Moyer, M/43, Doylestown, PA, was charged with the above offense after police responded to a complaint from someone who stated that Moyer was on their property yelling and throwing items on the ground. Police tried to speak with Moyer who refused to cooperate. Moyer then entered to complainant’s home and then walked into the back yard before returning home. A Criminal Complaint was filed.

Drug Violation, May 22, 2022, E. Butler Avenue, New Britain Borough – Bara Pinto, F/35, Doylestown, PA, was charged with the above offense after a traffic stop. Pinto was taken into custody and a Criminal Complaint was filed.

DUI, May 23, 2022, S. Main Street, Doylestown Borough – Heather Warner, F/34, Perkasie, PA, was charged with the above offense after a traffic accident. Warner presented with bloodshot eyes, unsteady gate, and slurred speech. After failed field sobriety tests, Warner was taken to Doylestown Hospital for legal blood draw. A Criminal Complaint was filed.

Ordinance Violation, May 23, 2022, Deerpath Road, Chalfont Borough – A juvenile was cited for the above offense for Soliciting for Ecoshield Pest Solutions without a permit. Citations were issued.

Ordinance Violation, May 24, 2022, Birchwood Road, Chalfont Borough – Shane McTeer, M/19, Norristown, PA, was cited for the above offense for soliciting for Ecoshield Pest Solutions without a permit. Citations were issued.

Ordinance Violation, May 25, 2022, Jasen Drive, Chalfont Borough – A juvenile was cited for the above offense for soliciting for Ecoshield Pest Solutions without a permit. Citations were issued.

Identity Theft, May 25, 2022, N. Main Street, Doylestown Borough – Richard Lewis, M/40, West Chester, NY, was arrested on the above charge after police were called to a local bank. Lewis was trying to withdraw money from an account using false identification. Lewis was taken into custody, arraigned, bail set at 10% of $50,000, and remanded to Bucks County Prison. A Criminal Complaint was filed.

Corruption of Minors, May 29, 2022, N. Broad Street, Doylestown Borough – William “Billy” Francis Vandeventer, M/41 of Doylestown, PA was arrested for Corruption of Minors for luring a minor for sex after the reporting party posed as a 13 year old boy. The “meet” took place at Center Square Towers at 555 N. Broad Street, Doylestown Borough on May 29, 2022, at 1:15 PM. Vandeventer started talking to the fictitious boy through a web forum. Police obtained numerous text messages from Vandeventer to the “boy” requesting sexual acts and including a profile picture of himself.  Vandeventer was arrested without incident, arraigned, bail set at 10% of $150,000, and remanded to Bucks County Prison.   

Disorderly Conduct, May 29, 2022, N. Main Street, Doylestown Borough – Ian Farina, M/26, Doylestown, PA, and Zachary Kovalenko, M/26, Rochester, NY, and Youcef Adjoiua, M/32, Landsdale, PA, were charged with the above offense for public urination. Citations were issued.

Criminal charges, and any discussion thereof, are merely allegations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Theft, May 17, 2022, E. State Street, Doylestown Borough – Unknown person(s) stole the catalytic converter from a vehicle overnight.
