Movie Review – The Chronicles of Narnia – Prince Caspian

Presently, sequels to films are not as fantastic as their predecessors. But ‘Prince Caspian’ proved it mistaken. It is greater than ‘The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe’, however it does lack some of LWW’s charms.

The sequel (which is also the fourth e book of C.S Lewis’ ‘The Chronicles of Narnia) tells the story of Narnia, 1300 a long time after the Pevensies go away Narnia. Humans, termed Telmarines, seize the land of Narnia and leave the Narnian creatures to be extinct. And though Prince Caspian the Tenth is below his uncle Miraz’ treatment, Miraz’ spouse conceives a son, and Miraz devises a prepare to murder Caspian, so his son can get the throne. Caspian escapes, and asks the remaining Narnians for support to overthrow Miraz from his castle, and declare his rightful throne. He also calls for the Pevensies to help him for his quest.

The movie is pretty noticeably darker than LWW was. From the inviting superb grasslands of LWW, we are transferred to the dark forest of Personal computer. And also, the movie is really violent, although no blood can be discovered. The movie indeed has a lot more glorious struggle scenes than the very first. And the past battle in the stop of the movie? It makes the past fight in LWW seem just like a kid’s Television set demonstrate. It is simply just wonderful.

Even so, even even though Prince Caspian is greater than the very first, it lacks some of the charms that built the 1st movie magical.

Apart from that, the biblical imagery in this film is apparent, although not as obvious as in LWW. The imagery in the movie tells us that if we do not believe that in God, then how can we be successful?

All in all, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian is a great movie, far better than the first, and surely worth just one yr and a half’s worthy of of wait. It will nevertheless be a very long wait around, nonetheless, when we be expecting The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader to arrive in cinemas in 2010.
